I utilize a non-judgemental, compassionate and integrative approach with my clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Humanistic/Rogerian and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I have experience working with children and adults who have depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.
I completed a 3-Day: Dialectical Behavior Therapy Certification Training with Katelyn Baxter-Musser, LCSW, C-DBT, through PESI. I am a Trained EMDR therapist and working towards certification. Additionally, I have trained in improvisational theater at Improv Boston, Huge Theater, and Brave New Workshop. My doctoral dissertation was Development of an Improvisational Theatre Skills Training Video to Be Used in the Clinical Training of Psychotherapists. I am thrilled to be a part of the DBT Center co-leading Adult DBT groups!
